Our Weekend ‘Shabbaton’ Kabbalah Retreat is the perfect time and place to do this as it’s entirely dedicated to your personal spiritual growth and development. It is an ideal chance to breathe and focus on becoming more relaxed, spiritually centred and balanced. It is an opportunity to reassess your life, discover your souls path, and a chance to focus on cultivating your own happiness, inner joy and peace of mind.

So when you do return to your life you can begin to live it on a higher plane, were you can be more focussed, calm, and alive.You don’t need to be reminded that life can be stressful, and that you don’t relax half as much you should. Most of the time, when you do get the chance to relax, you simply slump down on the couch and fill your mind with mindless stimulation and entertainment.

However relaxing and learning to relax fully is not necessarily a purely passive activity.  Deep, thorough and regular relaxation is the best remedy to counterbalance the strain of urban and suburban living, and is also the first and most important step in spiritual and psychological growth, however, it is an art that first needs to be properly learnt and then diligently put into practice.
Through Kabbalistic meditation, deep listening, the practice of stillness, a thorough programme of self discovery and thought provoking lectures and workshops; Kabbalah Retreat is the home of the practical application of the ancient wisdom of Kabbalah.

We practice and teach pragmatic Kabbalah, not only to unearth the psychodynamic processes within our lives, but also using its wisdom you can  open up the doorway to the truly transcendent within you and rediscover an ancient science of the true nature of reality.

One of the first aims of the Kabbalah Retreat’s personal development programme is helping you to learn the art of relaxation, the course teaches you practical techniques to be completely relaxed, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Our Kabbalah Retreats, usually take place over a weekend (or Shabbaton) Friday – Sunday.

They are very laid back and relaxing, the weekend is a mixture of lectures and workshops, focusing on wide variety of themes.

This included workshops in various forms of Kabbalistic meditation, from the early Merkvah school – to modern day forms of  Hassidic consciousness expanding techniques.

The themes of the lectures vary – and they can focus on that weeks Torah reading – although not always so.

We try to keep some semblance of a traditional Shabath from Friday to Saturday night although we are not dogmatic about it. As participants are asked to refrain from using there mobile phones throughout their time at the retreat etc…

There are group activities and ‘prayer’ workshops, as well as one on one learning and mentoring.

The food is Kosher and were possible locally produced.
